Funding
and program growth:
- Since its founding, CRMF has directed more than $1 million in funding, grants, and
donated goods and medicines to the people of the Tamatave region.
- In 2002, we opened our first literacy center, today there
are 15.
- More than 3500 people have completed basic literacy instruction.
- CRMF
funds the only centers to offer computer training free of charge.
- Our micro-lending program has more than 1000 beneficiaries.
-
The CRMF marionettes have been replicated in other regions to spread the message about hand washing.
-
There is a waiting list of over 2000 families requesting pit latrines. Some of our program graduates are now employed creating
latrine components.
- Our new training center offers educational programs for preschoolers, teenagers and adults.
-
The SANITEC facility construction has created employment for local people. Once complete, it will continue to create jobs
and generate revenue for the region as well as produce affordable latrine components.
- We have provided emergency relief
for victims of fires and cyclones, educational and nutritional programs funded for children.
- Hundreds received free
medical care and medications during on-site medical mission trips.
Recognitions:
- Multiple recognitions from local governments for our many programs
- National and local media coverage in Madagascar for literacy and medical
missions
