CRMF’s Literacy Initiative, Women’s Empowerment, and Model Healthy Village programs are operated by Malagasy members of our partner organization, ONG St. Gabriel.
Here are ways that you can support these programs:
Be a virtual volunteer by spreading the word about CRMF’s programs in Madagascar. Share our YouTube videos with your friends. Here’s our YouTube channel.
Create a fundraiser in support of one of our programs through Facebook or Instagram.
Donate and specify your favorite program as the recipient.
Medical Outreach
Our Medical Mentorship program recruits internal medicine and family practice residents and physicians willing to teach and see clinic patients with Malagasy medical students in Toamasina, for two weeks every September.
Our Saving the Lives of Mothers and Babies program recruits OB/GYN residents and attending physicians to offer continuing education for midwives at the Ankirihiry CSB II in Toamasina, for two weeks every September.
Our CRMF Medical Club program recruits medical and public health specialists to offer online lectures to young English-speaking medical providers who are eager to learn best practices that can help them in their healthcare careers.
Our Medical Empowerment program recruits medical specialists and experienced project managers to provide online mentorship to young Malagasy doctors as they develop and implement their own community healthcare projects.
